Why share a story?

The Divorce is no more a Taboo in current times. This Blog gives an opportunity to share your personal Divorce Stories to a larger audience giving your thoughts, moments and to express yourselves to help for a social cause and awareness. Your Divorce story can help others, so share it.

Guest Posting Rules

I am happy to accept guest posts and these Guest Posting Rules helps in getting easy and fast approval for publishing.  You can submit a  detailed proposal before sending an actual post.  Please give a brief self-introduction, and why you’re interested in guest posting. It would be advisable to inform your specific expertise or experience with divorce.

Topics

Guest posts can be made in two selective categories I.e. 1). your own personal story in reference to your experience of life after divorce; and 2). Any specific topic having relevance to divorce and life thereafter. Both these categories obviously can cover a broad range of topics including aspects of the legal process, divorce mediation,  relationships, parenting, healing, financial, living singly or dating. The above list is for reference only and is not exhaustive. You need not worry about posting on a topic on which there is already a blog post if you can handle and deal with the topic from a different perspective or angle. Your proposed post for publication must have an effective title and a unique content description, which is not published earlier. I expect the post to thoroughly deal with the topic and not to scratch the surface only and must contain between 700-1000 words.

In deciding your topic, you can always take a cue from the recently published posts on this blog. However, since readers of this blog would be from different cultures and backgrounds and not limited to Indian jurisdiction, I’m looking forward to topics having broad appeal.

You can also give me suggested topics and ask me to select one of them for your post. Please,  don’t seek suggestions from me on choosing a topic.

Format of your Divorce Story/Post/ Article

A good Story/post/Article is one which has in-depth content and deals with the topic thoroughly. Therefore, you must not be touching the surface only and must go deep into the subject.  The posts must confirm the minimum content limit of 750-1500 words with clear and simple language.

I will be restraining myself in doing any editing in the submitted post and therefore, expect it to be fully proofed for accuracy and grammar.

Re-Purposed Content

I’m looking for content that has not been previously published and that will not be republished elsewhere for at least 30 days following publication on my blog. When you do submit the material for publication elsewhere, please be sure to advise the publisher that it has been previously published.

Title

Please do include a title to your post, which may contain keywords derived from the content of the post itself. While making the title of the post keep in mind on which keywords the readers might be searching for your topic.

For SEO purposes, the words used in the title should appear in your initial first two or three sentences of your post.

Images

Make sure to use the only non-copyrighted image, if it is your own image but copyrighted by others, please give credit details or source of it. Don’t worry, if you can not add an image, I will find one that is appropriate.

Links

For publishing your post, I will link it to other posts already published on my blogsite. You can also include links to the other reference websites but do not include links to other businesses, products, services, and competitive platforms. Such a post would be treated as sponsored posts and may be charged.

Promotion

I would happy to accept any proposal where you can offer a link back to my blog, by listing my blog on your site as a resource link. I also like writers who are willing to promote the post links on their social media. So, when you submit your proposal, make sure to provide your social media platforms and the support you can offer.

Publication Date

Once your post is approved, you will get an email for a tentative date of publication depending on my editorial calendar. However, if you need to get it published on any specific date, I will change and reschedule it and inform you accordingly.

I will also notify you when your post goes live.

Please feel free to contact me with any queries.
